The American Dream
Wonderful trip to the western USA
(Translated by Google) The roadbook is complete and full of good ideas, we also spent a lot of time on Google to organize the trip as well as possible, already that there are quite a few miles to do it is better to avoid unnecessary detours.
The hotels proposed and chosen were very good overall, some a little simpler but it was our choice.
Do not neglect the miles to be covered between two destinations, with photo stops it quickly takes up the day.
Taxes not being included, good management of your calculator can help you.
No worries with service providers, guides, surfing, Navajo, hotels...
A plus to Sylvie our French guide in San Francisco, full of anecdotes and good corners to reveal to us.
Eric from Frogcuter in SF was also perfect, a little extra for trying to speak French to us when the tour was in English, congratulations to the great class.
Nice welcome to the Navajo in Monument Valley, the night in a Hogan (under the stars for us, personal choice) was a great experience.
A big thank you to Pierre-Louis for taking the time by email and telephone to help us in our choices.

Good but...
(Translated by Google) Customer service is top notch. Always answers to my questions. He is also very responsive.
Regarding the trip, everything went well, no surprises regarding the reservations.
But:
Some hotels are not up to standard. That of Death Valley in particular, we spent a sleepless night. An air conditioning that makes the noise of a plane taking off, and, it is obvious that with 53 degrees outside, impossible to turn it off... In addition, we fought with crickets in the room, in total, there were 6...
For a trip over 10,000 euros, I expected better. There is too much difference between hotels, day and night with the Hilton culver city in LA. Unfortunately parking costs $43 per day, out of budget. Brief. Improvements to be made on certain hotels

The American dream with the family
(Translated by Google) An unforgettable trip, full of memories, … in short, we only enjoyed every moment of this stress-free trip thanks to Authentik USA.
Thanks again Emily!
Superb trip
(Translated by Google) This trip was extraordinary.
The discovery of this country, its inhabitants and its landscapes will remain etched in our memories.
Preparing it with Authentik is reassuring when, like us, you are not frequent travellers.
A few clarifications are sometimes necessary on the operation of the various taxes and deposits.
National Parks Tour
(Translated by Google) Very nice road trip without major problems
We had planned a tense program which we carried out in full except Tioga road which was closed, 3920 miles traveled with a Ford escape SUV from Thrifty which did not disappoint us even on the few unpaved tracks taken, The hotels were at lived up to our expectations.
Many clichés about Americans have fallen but we are used to this after almost 300,000 kms of road trip in Europe and South East Asia. So a positive assessment because this three-week road trip is a prelude to a longer trip with our van fitted out on the American continent in the near future.

21 days of varied and breathtaking discoveries
(Translated by Google) The traveling formula with car is perfect for discovering the American West given the number of exceptional sites to admire and their geographical distribution: California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona. I strongly recommend 21 days given the road and the time needed to appreciate. Nature is a wonder there every time. However, I pinpoint Yosemite Park, Monument Valley and Zion Canyon. The city of San Francisco is worth the trip on its own. For the monument valley, I really enjoyed the 4x4 tour guided by a Navajo Indian. He made us discover inaccessible places and the memory of his song still resonates in me. If you like authenticity, avoid spending too much time in Las Vegas. [...]
Road Trip West USA
(Translated by Google) 05/29/2023
We chose Authentik USA for this road trip in the western United States, and we are delighted. Our contact person Virginie gave very good advice, and was always available, with ultra-fast responses during the preparation phase, which allowed us to adjust the trip to our liking.
During the trip we did not contact Authentik again because everything went as planned, without any difficulty.
We came back delighted with this trip, which allowed us to discover the west coast and the great national parks of the American west.
It is difficult to say what struck us the most, because day by day, we traveled from discovery to discovery, in breathtaking landscapes.
Thanks again to Virginie, for her help with the preparation, her advice, and her great availability.

Unforgettable trip
(Translated by Google) I recommend this trip to anyone who likes to discover the country. What beautiful memories and stories to tell that are engraved in our memory. The organization of the road trip is very good and the distances between the stages are well distributed as well. The roadbook is a very well put together and essential tool. The only negative thing I would have to say is that the travel agents don't seem very knowledgeable about the activities to do there. [...]

A successful stay and unforgettable memories!
(Translated by Google) Everything was perfect, whether it was the choice of hotels, activities, the roadbook is a real gold mine, very well done and complete.
No need to say more, we loved everything, just THANK YOU!
Fabulous
(Translated by Google) A huge thank you to Authentik USA and in particular to Virginie for the preparation of this magnificent trip and her support throughout our journey. I would like to thank her warmly for her patience, her ability to listen and her valuable advice. She also took over during our stay to solve a vehicle problem.
Regarding our trip, whether it was the itinerary, the hotel, the various reservations, everything went perfectly.
I will not hesitate to go back with Authentik USA.
For those who are still reluctant to go individually, get started. We were able to live a wonderful adventure.

Excellent experience!
(Translated by Google) Everything was perfectly organized. We had no problems at every stage, whether with accommodation, car rental or the various activities.
Customer service has always been responsive to our various requests.
Finally, the roadbook is a great tool, very clear and very complete, which allowed us to take full advantage of our trip.
We would use Authentik again without hesitation.

Unforgettable trip with efficient and precise support
(Translated by Google) Thanks to Emilie for her advice and warnings before the trip
Unfortunately, bad weather prevented us from seeing Death Valley and Oatman, these are our 2 regrets of the trip.
Another point: the Grand Canyon/Barstow trip could be cut in half to take advantage of Route 66 a little more and to be able to visit Calico, which closes at 5 p.m., among other things.
Another point, the closing of shops and restaurants too early for us Europeans. Many times we ran into restaurants that were closed in the evening after our excursions but the solution was Walmart or lunchtime leftovers.
In any case, very nice trip that we recommend,

An excellent stay with exceptional landscapes
(Translated by Google) Thank you to the Authentik USA team, and especially to Virginie who concocted this roadtrip for us.
Excellent responsiveness in email exchanges when preparing for the trip.
During the stay, encourage a phone call, if possible, in the event of a problem, such as the cancellation of a hotel, because reading emails is not always possible.
I recommend not to pass Authentik usa.

A great trip
(Translated by Google) After a stay in Canada a few years ago, we dreamed of discovering the West Coast of the USA and the large parks.
The choice of Authentik was made naturally and we found the same quality of organization.
From the personalized construction of our course to reservations: no bad surprises! The availability of Manon then Virginie for our questions, the quality of the hotels offered, the roadbook, in short: very satisfied.

Trip to the top!
(Translated by Google) I called on Authentik USA to help me organize my trip to the West Coast of the United States. And everything was absolutely perfect! Variety of accommodation choices, proposed activities and visits, responsiveness and attention from the advisors, everything was top notch, perfectly organized, enough to leave with peace of mind. It is certain that I will go back to Authentik USA for a future trip. [...]

Unforgettable !
(Translated by Google) Amazing family experience. We come back with wonderful memories in our heads.
The course was great and very varied.
Émilie and the advice of Autentik USA were invaluable for the preparation and during the road trip. Thank you again for your support, your advice and your responsiveness during the trip.
We highly recommend!

SUPERBE ROAD TRIP AMERICAIN
(Translated by Google) Very good road trip well organized by Authentik and for my part by Emilie who was always there when we needed it. The road book is a very valuable addition. Missing the routes. Luckily we had a GPS.
Perfect
(Translated by Google) Everything was perfect during our trip! Thank you Authentik for the good advice whether in terms of hotels, activities or restaurants!
A word of advice: prefer Los Angeles to San Francisco in the summer knowing that it's sunny and warm :)
An unforgettable road trip!
(Translated by Google) We left as a family (2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 15) for a 1-month summer roadtrip in a loc+hotels car package to discover the American West. Authentik USA helped us and gave us very good advice to prepare for this trip. The roadbook is remarkably well designed and has served us well during our roadtrip. All the services chosen (accommodation and activities) were of high quality, with systematically for hotels, very clean rooms and most of the time 1 room with 2 queen size beds. Our contact Emilie from Authentik USA was great and quickly answered our questions before and even during the trip.
In the program :
1- San Francisco (3 nights) with guided city tour in French, Golden Gate bike tour and visit to Alcatraz. To do absolutely. Superb city. Allow 2 days on site and good shoes. Accommodation and food expensive in San Francisco. Our hotel was very well located (California Street, north of Union Square). After these 2 days spent in SF, we picked up the rental car to go to Yosemite. The car was a Ford Escape mid-size vehicle. Comfortable and spacious for 4 with lots of luggage! We did nearly 6800km on our entire roadtrip and we encountered no difficulty. We found that the road infrastructure in the US is very good and above all free! Except in the big cities, we found people to be very respectful on the road. We had downloaded the road maps in advance on Google map which works very well offline (except in Yosemite where we did not have a GPS connection). We had also planned a paper road map of the entire western United States and it was still useful to us.
2- Yosemite (2 nights) staying at Tenaya Lodge, top hotel, very comfortable with great amenities (large swimming pools, free laundry service, games room, concierge) and very well located in relation to the park. Excellent breakfast buffet! Beautiful hikes in Yosemite, despite a forest badly damaged by successive fires, few animals.
3-Mammoth Lake (1 night) with its beautiful mountain lakes. We especially recommend the convict lake. Accommodation at the Alpenhof hotel good (comfort and location) but nothing more.
4-Death Valley (1 night). Accommodation at The Ranch hotel fine. Definitely visit at sunrise Dante's View and Zabriskie Point. Sensation of extreme heat. Total change of scenery.
5-Las Vegas (2 nights). Great hotel at the Hilton Grand Vacation (apartment with kitchen and 1 separate bedroom). One of the best hotels on our roadtrip. A must see is the Cirque du Soleil show at the MGM Grand, a magical moment that alone is worth the trip to Las Vegas! Otherwise the city, if you are not a player, in our opinion, is of no interest. Very "paste card" decor Also see the Venetian, Bellagio and Paris hotels.
6- Zion (1 night): back to nature after Las Vegas. Phew! Accommodation at the Driftwood Lodge hotel. Very good in a bucolic setting. Superb hikes under the waterfalls. Must-see mount Carmel road and spectacular view of the canyon.
7-Bryce Canyon (2 nights). Accommodation at the Best Western Grand Hotel. Good performance overall but poorly soundproofed. Good breakfast! Hike above and in the amphitheater of Bryce Canyon. Splendid ! Breathtaking !
8- Salt Lake City (1 night). Necessary step to cut the road to get to Yellowstone. Lodging at Little America. Very nice hotel, comfortable and elegant. Discovery of Salt Lake and visit of the Mormon temple. Nothing special.
9- Yellowstone (3 nights). Accommodation at the Holiday Inn West Yellowstone hotel. Comfortable hotel, good services overall and above all very well located at the entrance to the park. Yellowstone is hands down one of the most remarkable places we visited during our roadtrip. A rich and varied fauna and flora. Bison, prairie dog, moose, bears, squirrels, etc. A must see: grand prismatic (view from below and from above), Hayden Valley, Grand Canyon, Norris Geyser, Mammoth hot springs, Yellowstone lake. We were a little disappointed by the Old faithful geyser. Lots of people for not much. Give preference to visits in the early morning or at the end of the day to see as many animals as possible and avoid the flow of large tourists at the entrances to the park.
10- Grand Teton (2 nights). Accommodation at Teton Mountain lodge. Very nice hotel among the best on the roadtrip. Apartment with kitchen and 1 separate kingsize bedroom. Very good services in the hotel. Rafting activity to go down the Mad River (very funny) and hike around Jenny Lake to do. We saw a black bear!
11- Rock Springs (1 night). Just one step to cut the road between Yellowstone and Arches. Lodging at the Hampton Inn. Good. Nothing to see in Rock Springs. On the other hand, very nice road between Rock springs and Arches.
12- Arches (2 nights). Accommodation at Red Cliffs Lodge. Superb and very comfortable hotel on the side of a cliff above Colorado. Vertiginous hikes in Arches. To see early in the morning to avoid the heat landscape arch, devil's garden, dark angel. And at sunset: delicate arch. We also saw Dead Horse point. Splendid point of view to see absolutely to admire in height the meanders of the Colorado.
13- Monument Valley (1 night). Accommodation at Goulding's lodge cabins. Small detached house and good location in relation to the park but very touristy. Guided tour in 4x4 by a Navajo guide, dinner in the park by the fire with some stories about Navajo customs and traditional dance. The start is a bit of a tourist factory with several vehicles loading tourists and taking them to the site. Few explanations during the excursion and average dinner. On the other hand, the site is grandiose and as soon as one moves away from the beaten track, one takes the measure of the place. Authentic Navajo story and return by 4x4 under the magical stars. No other means of visiting monument valley because the main tracks are not passable by rental car.
14- Lake Powell (1 night). Accommodation at the Holiday Inn Express page. Good. Must-see Antelope Canyon visit. One of the most beautiful visits of our roadtrip with a great Navajo guide! See also Horshoebend. Many tourists but impressive view of colorado. Dinner at the friendly Fiesta Mexicana restaurant with Mexican specialties and XXL margaritas. Affordable prices.
15-Grand Canyon (2 nights). Accommodation at the Best Western Squire Inn. Good. Helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon not to be missed to realize the immensity of the place. Several remarkable viewpoints to see above the Grand Canyon along the rim trail.
15- Barstow (1 night) stage to cut the road between the Grand Canyon and Los Angeles. Hampton Inn accommodations. Good and located right behind a big mall for outlet shopping (Levi's, Nike, Ralph Lauren, Van's, etc.) Route 66 blah!
16-Los Angeles (2 nights). Accommodation at the Hilton Universal studios 5 min walk from the Universal studios park. Very well ! Santa Monica Pier Sunset Tour. View of all of LA from Griffith Observatory. The Petersen car museum is very nice with the legendary cars from the cinema. One regret: not having seen the Getty center (full when we wanted to book). Day at Universal Studios. Really long queue time (sometimes more than 1 hour in line for 5 min of attraction), lots of people. Some attractions are cool (Harry Potter, Transformers, Jurassic World, Studio Tour and Waterworld show). The children were happy!
A piece of advice for the whole roadtrip: don't neglect the budget for eating out. Overall the prices are higher than in France, especially since taxes and tips must be added. Most of the time we buy in the local supermarkets what to make picnics and breakfasts. Menu not very varied!
Another tip: to keep water and food on the road, buy a polystyrene cooler from the start of the trip to add ice cubes at each stage. All hotels have ice makers.
Most hotels have washing machines and dryers available to customers (most of the time paying between 5 and 6 dollars for washing + drying). Very convenient !
In short, a fabulous roadtrip with exceptional sites! No downside! Despite the many km covered, we did not feel like we were running and were able to fully enjoy the trip. The distances between each stage were well calibrated.

INCREDIBLE STAY
(Translated by Google) We realized the American dream, perfect organization and a very well organized road trip with the support of the Authentik teams, responsiveness to the slightest problem encountered during a reservation, very frankly we had already made a trip to CANADA with this agency, and we absolutely do not regret our choice and this renewed trust.
Unforgettable trip
(Translated by Google) With or without Authentik, it was an exceptional trip.
There were some hotels that had an average rating on Authentik but rather disappointing in reality.
Some stages of the return were not fragmented enough, from Los Angeles, the return via Atascadero and Monterey where there were no more free hotels meant that the journey was quite long between Atascadero and San Francisco. it would probably have been better to add a stage between LA and San Francisco.
Some places known to Authentik were really exceptional like the geysers at Mammoth Lakes.

A super well organized trip that is enjoyable at all times
(Translated by Google) Thanks to our advisor, we were able to prepare our trip, choose our activities and benefit from all the advice so that our trip could be unforgettable!
Magnificent discovery of the American West
(Translated by Google) Very nice trip of 3100 miles to discover San Francisco and the Western Parks. Long stages sometimes but bearable with an average of two nights at each place allowing you to visit and not be in the car all the time. In general, good bedding and decent hotels except for two much worse hotels. In San Francisco, we were staying near the seedy neighborhood. Hotel breakfasts are generally poor and must be eaten outside or bought in supermarkets. All rooms have a fridge, microwave and coffee available. The discovery of the West is just superb and totally breathtaking. Exceptional Antalope and Monument Valley excursions. [...]

Wonderful road trip in the American West
(Translated by Google) We chose the American dream road trip and only made one less night in Las Vegas and one more in Zion. It was perfect.
We booked the hotels offered by Auenthik except for Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Montery and again, we did not regret our choice. All hotels were very good.
The vehicle, reserved at dollar, was almost new, comfortable and with WiFi.
We will keep marvelous memories of these holidays and will not hesitate to call on Authentik for all other trips.

Great family stay with a great reservation at the Steates
(Translated by Google) Very nice trip full of discoveries and beautiful landscapes.
The American dream... we lived it!
(Translated by Google) The title of our circuit, the American dream was aptly named. Firstly because it had been 3 years since we had to postpone this trip and secondly because we really lived this dream. We were amazed, incredible memories.
This is the 3rd time we've gone with Authentik USA/Canada and we can guarantee it's a safe bet. The trip planning tool is very practical by choosing a basic circuit that you adapt as you want. We greatly appreciated the responsiveness of our advisor Virginie both before the trip and during when we were unable to reach a service provider whose confirmation was essential.
22 days, 4,500 km.... and we are already thinking about our next road trip :-)
Thank you Authentik for the support.
Here are some pictures of our stay.

American West road trip
(Translated by Google) An unforgettable experience with zero stress, the road book is so well done. The hotels, the activities, the course nothing to say it was perfect. Sophie is very attentive and responds quickly
I would recommend without hesitation
The weak points: the hotel has kanab which is really bad and the 2nd bed was a click click very small and dirty
Western evening not crazy either when you don't speak American
And above all it should be specified that not only must you buy the america pass on site and not have it sent (shipping costs and post office tax on arrival, i.e. $126 against 80 or 86 on site) but above all to reserve the pass for Yosemite otherwise we cannot use the Tiago road to go to mamoth and drive 6 hours
It costs 2 € and can be used for 3 days
The tour with the Indians is nice but their meal and show quite ridiculous
Many thanks, many thanks, Sophie

An excellent holiday
(Translated by Google) Everything is in the title: for a first in the USA, this circuit in the west was perfect: large expanses, extraordinary landscapes, charming people, no downtime. All without having to worry about anything and without any unpleasant surprises thanks to the reservations made by the Authentik team. What happiness!
The only regret (we really need one): we just regret not having had more time to take advantage of certain stages (Zion in particular) and the not great weather for the ascent on the Pacific (even if 2 days around 20°C really did good).
After 4500km of road we came back tired but happy. Can't wait for the next one!

Very good advice, and very good support
Stunning
(Translated by Google) 3 weeks for a tour in the West USA, more than 5000 kms
No pb on all reservations, no more pb on car rental
Very good advice on activities and results
