Susyane Koschinsky

Specialist USA
Adventurous, passionate, and creative are the best words to describe me. Having obtained a DEC in Visual Arts, another in Multimedia Integration, and finally the last one in Tourism, I realized that my place was truly in the field of Tourism. My two one-month trips to the Canadian West made me realize that I am not a person who can live and work every day in a big city, so following this realization, I followed my heart and left my condo in Montreal to live in a trailer and travel across North America.

My Picks and Travel Tips

What is my favorite destination in the USA?

Having not yet discovered the American West, for now, my favorite destination is Colorado. I went there in the fall, and the yellow birches are simply beautiful.

A tip for your trip to the USA

There is so much to see that the reflex would be to go fast and do many destinations in one trip. My best advice would still be to take your time, because in the end, you will not have seen anything if you go too fast!

What is my favorite season in the USA?

My favorite season is undoubtedly fall. Depending on the states, the temperature, and the changing colors charm me every time.

What souvenir to bring back from the United States?

I love to hunt for magnets and stickers. In my opinion, these are not too expensive souvenirs that we find in every state for sure. I put the stickers on the trailer and the vehicle, and it reminds me of all the wonderful places I have had the chance to visit.

Don't forget to pack in your luggage:

A small tripod for your cell phone. This will allow you to take pictures of yourself with a wider frame in front of landscapes without them all being 'selfies'.

What is my dream trip?

After having gone to the Yukon, I got a taste for the northern landscapes. My dream trip would be to return to the Yukon, then go to the Northwest Territories and see the midnight sun and the Arctic Ocean. Of course, making a stop in Alaska!
