USA by Motorhome
Wonderful journey
(Translated by Google) 3 weeks in the American West, 4900 km on the clock, dazzled by the diverse and varied landscapes.
A few small problems with the van car for 1 week.
Otherwise we keep a very good memory of this fabulous trip.

a well-constructed and well-supervised trip
(Translated by Google) We experienced an exceptional journey with discoveries that amazed us, enriching encounters, and spectacular surprises.
MARVELLOUS. THANK YOU VIRGINIA
(Translated by Google) Great 3-week road trip in a motorhome.
If we had to sum up this trip to the American West, we would take the reaction of this young American arriving at Mather point at sunset, mouth and eyes wide open and saying Wow! Wow! Wouah! Wouah!......... We can no longer find the words to describe the marvels discovered each day.
Campsites in Yosemite, Zion, Monument Valley and Malibu are splendid sites
Thanks to Authentik and Virginie for their good advice before departure, for having prepared a perfect road book for us and the recorded GPS which allowed us to travel with peace of mind.
Americans are adorable, helpful and happy, it's very pleasant!
A few small remarks:
Welcome Cruise América expeditious, if you don't speak English very well, they make little effort to make themselves understood other than to force you to watch the video in French a second time.
State of the average RV: faucet not fixed, doors slamming while driving, smoke alarm fallen on the way, exterior water filling impossible to fill ....
The Napa campsite is a bit sad and far from the Yosemite road (plan to put the name of the street in the GPS and not the geographical coordinates, it leads us to a hospital)
Same thing for Kingman, arrival at night on a track behind the campsite!
Other than those little things it was perfect. THANK YOU !

Best road trip ever!
(Translated by Google) Excellent organization of Authentik!
The guide From San Francisco (Sylvie J.Walters was very comfortable taking us to beautiful places. We felt that she loved her job! Big thank you!
Madame Charlotte from Authentik showed great kindness and availability. Thanks again!
Fantastic
(Translated by Google) Excellent trip, organization at the top, if to do it again we don't change anything except the duration of 21 days we could have done 2 months without ever getting bored. More than 3000 photos taken

OUR MOST BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAYS
(Translated by Google) A 3-week road trip in a motorhome for 4, everything went wonderfully, everything was anticipated by Authentik, we couldn't have dreamed of better... we're already thinking about the next one!!
Perfect and no surprises
(Translated by Google) Everything is done wonderfully well in advance of the trip; no nasty surprises.
Perfect for those who don't want to take the hassle of planning a trip to unknown lands.
Wonderful family road trip
(Translated by Google) Wonderful roadtrip in the American West in a motorhome with the family. Everyone came back with lots of memories and landscapes in their eyes.
Superb organization of the trip with all pitches reserved in advance, all campsites were great. Motorhome rental at the top.
A big thank you for this organization which greatly facilitated our trip.

In the top
(Translated by Google) Hotel and campsites very well located. An extraordinary stay filled with discoveries and exceptional images. On the other hand, it would be preferable for the campsite for Sequoia Park to be located in the north or west of the park (South entrance prohibited for vehicles over 22 feet).

Go on a roadtrip with complete peace of mind
(Translated by Google) An advisor available, pleasant, patient, answering all our (many) questions. Easy exchange by email.
Once there, Authentik USA's service is flawless! The roadbook is very well informed. The vouchers given to each service provider are reassuring. The instructions for each service are very clear. Slight flat on the sometimes not very detailed road indications and not taking into account the speed of a camper (underestimated duration). The travel guide at each stage is clear, concise.

Discovering the American West
(Translated by Google) Our road trip went very well overall. Unfortunately, we were unable to visit Monterey due to lack of time. We should have requested our RV pick up first thing in the morning instead of waiting until the afternoon. San Francisco is a city where life is good and the landscapes of the west are breathtaking.
This trip will leave us with lasting memories.
Thanks to the Autentik team!!

UNFORGETTABLE JOURNEY
(Translated by Google) We loved our RV road trip through the American West. We were able to be matched with friends who were leaving at the same time as us but leaving earlier. The campsites were very well located and well equipped overall. At the rental level of the RV, it does not come from Authentik USA but from the rental company. The tour of the state of the vehicle is done alone. We check a document with all the information and then give them a duplicate but no one checks. When the vehicle is returned, a person arrives with a damp sponge to see the impacts on the windshield even though this is not done when taking control of the vehicle and the windshield does not appear on the document . After discussion with them, the lessor did not take the impacts into account. The road book is very popular for the sites to visit around the stops. On the other hand, for the journeys, we did not always follow the indications because we preferred to take the secondary roads. Route 1 in California between Pismo and Monterey, is absolutely to do! For Antelope Canyon, little trick, we managed to have a visit on the principle of first come-first served for the visit of 7:30 am but you have to be there from 6 am. [...]
3 weeks in the American West...........Pura Vida!
(Translated by Google) We left from July 06 to 26, 2019 in RV with the family (2 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 10). A huge "thank you" to the entire Authentik team and especially to Charlotte for her advice and help in making this trip a reality!
The stages are well calculated and we really have time to sit down and appreciate these magnificent landscapes! And there are many, varied .... we do not get bored! The road between San Francisco and Los Angeles Highway 1 remains a must personally (the freshness of the Pacific is very pleasant, the children enjoyed the games on the many beaches, the Pacific Dunes campsite with the slides in the sand and the sunset sun, sea view and dolphins in Malibu......).
Between Los Angeles and Grand Canyon, stop at Kingman (very very hot but pleasant swimming pool at the end of the afternoon with Americans at the top!).
Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon, Zion...... WOW......we were speechless!
On the wise advice of Charlotte, we had chosen to stay one more night in Zion and to spend only one night in Las Vegas....personally, it was enough......too hot!
The last part.......Mammoth Lakes and Yosemite Park, we enjoyed the multitude of landscapes and activities! A big favorite!
In summary, we appreciated the organized and professional side of Authentik: we have time to enjoy hikes, visits, moments of relaxation without worrying about finding accommodation in the middle of summer! The road book is great because it gives all the valuable advice for campsites, activities and other travel information. And then, if he has the slightest problem, Authentik is super responsive!
We had already done a road trip in the summer of 2017 in Quebec with Authentik, once again, it was great!!!!! Thank you Thank you and certainly see you soon for a 3rd journey with you!

a very nice trip that should not have been done in a motorhome
(Translated by Google) We had made a trip to Quebec in a motorhome last year with Authentik Canada, from which we came back delighted.
We therefore once again trusted Authentik (USA this time) to repeat the experience in the United States. We have nothing to say about the Authentik organization: program very easy to personalize, road book very well done (it alone replaces the tourist guide), all reservations are made with a voucher each time, simple access and quickly to our advisor...
On the other hand, we are much less satisfied with the listening and the response to our expectations and the knowledge of the sites: we thought we had been clear about our expectations, indicating in particular that we did not like the Quebec campsite at all ( city) where the Motorhomes are glued to each other and our adviser never told us that this would be the case EVERYWHERE in the United States. We have almost always been disappointed with the campgrounds on offer: they are no more and no less than equipped car parks, the CCs glued to each other with the sharing of noise and smells... After a few email exchanges, I did not insisted since my adviser only tried to convince me that the campsites were great with a very nice view and great services (thanks I'm there, I see how it is)... still not a lot of listen.
In the end, we had a very nice trip (the landscapes are breathtaking), very well organized (nothing to say from this point of view), but that we should not have done in a motorhome (a lot more expensive than the hotel with comparable service with the disadvantages but not the advantages...) I am a little angry with our adviser from this point of view.

A wonderful trip
(Translated by Google) Excellent organization, a complete road book, all pre-paid reservations which simplifies arrival at the campsites. The choice of campsites is very good (note that the one in LA is very far from the city!). A single day in Yosemite is sufficient if you do not practice hiking and plan 2 full days in LA. A small flat on the motorhome which is difficult to use in cities especially in LA. For my part, I preferred to travel by Uber and metro. [...]
Almost perfect !
(Translated by Google) Avoid Yosemite on weekends it is inaccessible.
The napa RV campground sucks.
Warn us if the road is open between Mammoth Lake and Yosemite because night in Mammoth useless and without interest. We learned that there was 1h30 and not 5h of road between the 2.
/>
Finally the blinds (awnings) of the RVs are disconnected, it is scandalous because we need them for the rain and the sun... it makes no sense and it is very penalizing for us.

A dream vacation
(Translated by Google) I thank Authentik for organizing our vacation. Thanks to them, we have discovered a GIGANTIC new part of the globe.
Breathtaking landscapes.
Only one small downside. The organization of the trip goes from point to point to point B. Proposals for excursions are given for all points of stay and they are very interesting and judicious. However, it lacks directions on what to see or pick up on the ride. We had prepared all our routes before leaving and spotted things to see and visit on the road. And it's something you absolutely have to do because you risk missing out on some great shows.

Bon road trip
(Translated by Google) (+) Good sequence of stages, good preparation of the road book, quality of the documentation
(+) Total change of scenery
(+) RV C30 well suited for a family of 5 people
(+) all the people you meet (campers, tourists, traders) are very friendly and jovial
(-) Only one night for stages that deserve at least two (Zion, Bryce)
(-) unrealistic travel times indicated in the road book with this type of vehicle: it takes one to two hours more depending on the length of the stage (max average of 50 mph)
(-) Very noisy air conditioning in the RV, even in low cool mode: difficult to sleep at night
(-) Amazing fuel consumption of the vehicle (25 to 30 litres/100 km, even being reasonable): we fill up with $160 every 2-3 days!
(-) Minimum service and hospitality from Cruise America SFO-Newark. In addition, the other RVs we have come across (Leprechaun, DelMonte...) are better equipped
(-) Given the water capacity (clean, dirty) of the RV, it is not possible to shower in the RV (5 people). For campsites without sanitary facilities, washing with a wipe or the old-fashioned way at the tap in the middle of nature in the park
(-) Everyday life and expensive shopping in the United States: only Walmart supermarkets allow affordable food prices. Non-fast food restaurants are expensive (allow $40 per person, even with children's menus when they exist)

1st Road Trip - Very beautiful discoveries of the American West
(Translated by Google) We made a trip of 3 weeks including one by car and 2 in a motorhome. We discovered the Pacific coast from San Francisco to Los Angeles by car. then we picked up a motorhome to go to the parks and Las Vegas.
We liked the cities: San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. These 3 cities are totally different but very interesting or surprising or incredible. We regretted not staying longer in San Francisco and Los Angeles. For parks, we particularly liked Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley and Yosemith. We passed by some sites but did not have time to visit them because the campsite was too far from the site or from the shuttles or we arrived too late. This was the case for Barstow (ghost town) Mammoth lakes and Napa Valley.
We really liked the kindness of the Americans, the beauty of the sites, the very good organization of Authentik, the quality of the hotels and campsites,
We were very disappointed with the welcome and the quality of service provided by the Apollo motorhome rental company. On our return, we told Manon, our adviser, who listened to us and settled some disputes with Apollo.
Thanks to Manon for her advice, her efficiency, her kindness, her availability.

Unforgettable trip to the USA
(Translated by Google) Very nice trip in RV for 3 weeks in the American West with 2 children, 8 and 11 years old. The stages were very well calculated and each offered a different vision and varied landscapes of the United States (cities, coasts, route 66, Indian reservation, natural and grandiose landscapes, cowboy atmosphere,...). Traveling from July 6 to 28, we were afraid of being too numerous on the road and in the sites, but we were pleasantly surprised: often alone on the roads, in sometimes unfilled campsites (especially at the beginning), we even discovered the Grand Canyon alone in the late afternoon (noon) and it was a very moving moment! The choice of campsites was quite satisfactory with perhaps a downside for Las Vegas (parking, prefer the hotel if you can) on the other hand very good for the shuttle systems for everyone: it allows you to leave the RV on site and enjoy. We had a 30-foot RV and were a little worried, but in the end, everything is done to facilitate travel in the USA: the only moment that frustrated us was in Yosemite to reach Glacier point: after 30 minutes of climbing, a few miles from arrival, we are told to turn around because it is forbidden for vehicles 30 feet or more!
Regarding the RV itself, we rented it from Cruise America. It worked well, no major problems but... limited comfort: stifling engine heat in the driving part, furniture doors that come off, vibrations and noises throughout the vehicle, faulty water pump, a gas burner out of three not working, threshold and furniture moldings to be fixed regularly, sockets not working,... in short, a vehicle not checked before the rental. Maybe we came across a too old model? (182,000 km on the clock). After discussion with other vacationers, ask EL Monte for RV rental (apparently newer vehicles and offering more comfort).
In any case, it was a wonderful trip from which we come back with lots of images in mind and on our cameras. Apart from our reservations about the Campervan, everything went very well: Charlotte Mathière did her job very well and didn't even forget to wish me my birthday in the road book that had been sent to our hotel at the arrival in San Francisco.

Very pleasant trip
A nice trip
(Translated by Google) Too short on some stages (route 1), I confirm that the motorhome in Los Angeles is a hassle. One more stage on route 66 because it is too long, find a place between Mammoth Lake and Vegas because it is really very long. For the rest, the places to visit are magnificent, satisfied with the campsites too. Just the last one was but we were close to the airport but I think it would have been preferable to have a campsite close to the cc depot because we retraced our steps and circulation+++++ [...]
Superb stay!
(Translated by Google) We would like to thank the entire Authentik USA team for organizing our trip, which couldn't have been better. Professionalism assured, congratulations!
Stunning
(Translated by Google) This trip was superb thanks to the support of authenticik who are attentive and available, thank you.

Hotels not up to standard in LA and SF
(Translated by Google) AT THE attendance not great (we meet police officers who take young people in handcuffs to hotel rooms 10 m from our room
A dark SF room with a view of nothing blind that doesn't go up
Thank you Charlotte!
(Translated by Google) Just perfect trip. Excellent pace for the main points to visit. Very good choice of campsites, whether in town or in the middle of nature. The road book is very well done and very complete. All the important information is there.

A wonderful trip!
(Translated by Google) We were delighted with our motorhome vacation in the American West! The services of Authentik USA were perfect, we highly recommend them and now we are thinking of next vacations with Authentik Canada ;-)
Shared opinion
(Translated by Google) The overall organization is correct. But it's very standard, and the customization of the trip isn't very good. The road book sucks.
A magical journey!
(Translated by Google) We discovered the American West but also the Americans and their way of life.
We shared this trip with our 3 children aged 14, 11 and 5 years old. There is a large number of very different landscapes and that is what makes the beauty of the trip. We had never traveled by motorhome before and I admit that we knew how to organize ourselves well :)
Of course if there were places to remember, I would say that it was Los Angeles (for fans of American cinema), Monument Valley among the Navajos (at John Ford and John Wayne ;) ), Las Vegas a completely mad, ...

A very well organized and planned family stay
(Translated by Google) A fantastic family holiday. Overall, everything was very good, from the motorhome to the campsite, as well as the excursions. Availability of the Authentik USA team at the top to modify the program as much as possible according to the desires of the moment. Thanks. Only downside, the campsite near the Grand Canyon the Grand Canyon Railway RV Park
