10 - Yosemite: great hotel in (relative) nature: comfort and practicality are there. Fast food on site (more economical): very close to the park.
11- SF: Hotel in the city center: practical. Old and typical side of good aloi: good comfort and very simple cold breakfast in the large room (plenty of other possibilities in the city)
Another topic: car rental: very good recent vehicle: nothing to report on the subject, except that they took advantage of our "disorientation" on arrival to "slip" us all the insurance, the full tank charged at departure (remember to return the tank empty…) and especially the "all included" tolls: no interest in California and other neighboring states crossed: only necessary once in SF on arrival....(not in LA): total extra + 400 dollars: to think about or consider before....(or to advise in the roadbook).
