My passion for travel truly began during my early backpacking trips in the Greek islands, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. I deepened this passion and knowledge during my DEC in tourism management at the Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec. What I love most about travel is much more than discovering new places; it's the richness of immersing myself in the culture of others. I had the chance to live for three years in Nicaragua, where I fully immersed myself in their culture, cuisine, language, and values. Traveling is about enriching oneself with invaluable human experiences that transform us and open us to new perspectives.

My Picks and Travel Tips

What is my favorite destination in the USA?

New York, without hesitation! I've been there several times and have a real crush on this city. It's always bustling, with so much to see and do, even without visiting tourist attractions. Life in NYC is exciting, each street corner has its own charm and liveliness. And I must say visiting the city in December is truly magical. The Christmas atmosphere there is worthy of classic films, and it's a magical experience I will never get tired of!

A tip for your trip to the USA

Always check the weather before you leave! Depending on the different seasons of the year, temperatures can vary considerably. The United States is probably the country that offers the greatest climatic and biodiversity due to its vast expanse. It's really important not to assume what the temperature will be like during your trip. Prepare accordingly to make the most of your experience!

What is my favorite season in the USA?

Winter, clearly! I love being able to escape to States where it's warmer during our Canadian winters. It's so pleasant to indulge in mild temperatures, it's so refreshing to enjoy the sun, even in the middle of winter!

Don't forget to pack in your luggage:

Don't forget to bring a good pair of comfortable shoes! Whether you're exploring bustling cities or walking through national parks, you're sure to do a lot of walking.
