Travel is surely in my DNA, it has been a part of my life ever since I was knee-high to a grasshopper! I am convinced that it's the key to understanding and appreciating the beauty of our world in its true value. I have been very lucky to have traveled in my childhood, and the bug continued into adulthood – much to my delight! Thus, it was only natural that I gravitated towards this field for my professional career. What pleases me is to consider all the possibilities that a destination can offer and everything it can inspire!

My Picks and Travel Tips

What is my favorite destination in the USA?

Such a tough question! I'll go for a top 3: New York, Yellowstone, and the Keys. No relation between the three, you might say, and so much the better: the USA indeed has such varied destinations to offer!

A tip for your trip to the USA

Take your time! I think a journey is lived and appreciated at a very personal pace. The road trip planner is made just for that: listen to your desires and indulge yourself, for a journey that mirrors you… Once there, be sure to appreciate human interactions, which will mark you just as much as the most sumptuous landscapes or the most exciting museums.

What is my favorite season in the USA?

It all depends on the region, and I think each season has its advantages; but I am faithful to autumn, for its colors and the gentleness of the Indian summer.

What souvenir to bring back from the United States?

At the risk of not being original, I would say… A Stetson, it's a way to bring a bit of the American myth back home!

Don't forget to pack in your luggage:

Your good mood, your openness to the world, and… a paper map! Today everything is connected, we save incredible amounts of time getting our bearings and informing ourselves. But the charm of a road map, of projecting yourself onto a route, and tallying up the miles of a road trip by following it with your finger on the paper… That's priceless!

What is my dream trip?

The Canadian West, for the grandeur of its mountainous landscapes, and Yellowstone in the USA, which is mythical in my eyes. Two immensities to explore! I would also like to rediscover Sicily, encountered too hastily a few years ago but which deserves a real discovery as it is fascinating. And above all, a journey in good company and with beautiful encounters!
